How a tag read becomes a confirmed move
Each read identifies a tag, the reader that saw it and the time. The software checks those details against the rules for that read point before recording a move. We test it all the way through to your ERP or MES.

An RFID reader may see the same tag many times. A cart parked beside a doorway can keep generating reads without going anywhere. FactorySense.io filters those repeats and checks the sequence of reads to determine whether the cart crossed the doorway. Your team helps define what should happen next, such as changing its location or recording a transfer in the ERP.
What to check in RFID asset tracking software
Follow one of your assets through a demo. Can the person using the screen find what they need? What happens when a move is missed? Ask to see the resulting update in your business system, too.
A tag ID needs to point to the right asset record. Check what happens when a tag is replaced or a carrier is assigned to a different job, so the history stays with the correct asset.

Does FactorySense.io replace our ERP, MES or WMS?+
No. Your ERP, MES, WMS or EAM continues to hold the records it manages today. FactorySense.io tells those systems what physically happened, such as a pallet leaving a staging lane. We work with your team to determine which transaction that should trigger.
How does the software handle repeated or ambiguous RFID reads?+
A tag near a reader can generate many reads while the asset stays still. FactorySense.io filters those repeats and checks the sequence against the rules for that location. During design and testing, we also work out how your team will review movements the reads don't clearly confirm.
Can we configure workflows for different assets or sites?+
